Atwater Fourth of July Committee
Event Rules & Regulations
Monday, July 4th at Ralston Park Atwater, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Check in time to set up your booth begins at 2:00 pm Sunday the 3rd absolutely not any earlier, and ends at 8.00 pm. Then
we will be available to check in again from 5:00 am to 8:00 am on the 4th. All booths must be set up by 8:00 am on the 4th,
No parking to load or unload on Third Street on the 4th.
Vendors must park away from the park in designated vendor parking areas or just off of the main park area. This allows
the customers to come & go easily, it is a fact that the higher number of convenient open parking spaces near the park
generates more customer sales. (No parking on Fir or Grove for vendors)
Every vendor must check in at the information booth to receive their space number and info packet.
All vendors must have paid the space fee before setting up, if you have not paid your fee (for what ever reason) by June
22nd, only cash or money orders will be accepted.
The Fourth of July Committee reserves the right to deny a vendor to sell items we feel are inappropriate for our community
event.
No vendor is allowed to start packing up or disassembling their booth before the scheduled closing of the park. Please
show this courtesy to the Committee & the other vendors.
All vendors are allowed to park in the closed in parking lot of the APC Hall across the street from the park.
There will be security in the park all night, from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, starting Saturday July 3rd.
Only the 4th of July Committee is allowed to sell sodas & WATER. This is one way the committee makes money. This
allows us to keep the fee for booths at a minimum.
Any violation of the Fourth of July Committee rules or the City of Atwater Laws may cause your expulsion from the event
without a refund.
Food venders may not sell items they had not cleared on their application. We do not want ten booths all selling the same
product, you won't make money and no one will be happy. Food vendors should do their best to avoid price wars, this will not
help anyone either.
Inclement weather, acts of God, or any and all other natural occurrences which may impact the 4th of July festival are
deemed beyond the ability of the Committee to control and, as such will not constitute grounds for fee reimbursement or any
other forms of compensation to exhibitors, patrons or attendees.
If you have any questions before the event about booths, please call Greg McDaniel 209-358-2260. Please remember that
we will not be available to return your calls for most of the 3rd and all of the 4th.
Have a happy Fourth of July and we hope you are very successful with your booth.
